The Legend...


Equines dominated the Earth alongside land, sea, and air creatures alike. Together in unison, they advanced for better and for worse. As time grew on, Equines learned more about the world they shared. Soon, the diamond was discovered. It was black, and sparkled with radiance. This diamond was an object that symbolized the energy of the elements - Fire, Earth, Water, and Air. It was discovered in the cave of a mighty waterfall, today known as the Majestic Capital. The horse that discovered it was a mare by the name of Epona, a mare born on the night of an eclipse. She was physic, and kept the Black Diamond hidden for she sensed its power could be devastating to those around her. Over time, though, word got out.

One by one, bands formed. Darkness crowded the minds' of Equines, each one searching for the Diamond. It was said that the Diamond was powerful but only Epona knew how strong it really was. She wore it around her neck on a chain crafted by the Bird species for her. Epona hid herself from the rest of the world, for Equines were not the only species hunting for the diamond. Finally, when she could bare the power no more, Epona returned to the waterfall cave, and killed herself.

Eventually, the Dark herd was formed, attempting to gain power and control by ultimately finding the diamond and defeating the Lights.

Just as the Darks began to rise, the Light herd was formed. They were dedicated to boldness, wise words, and liberty. They believed in protecting the diamond from getting into the wrong hands.

All knew it was coming, a great battle between Darks and Lights. The Lights were outnumbered but, prophecy foretold the birth of a stallion, a stallion to guide the Lights through victory. This stallion was a descendant of Epona.

Finally, it happened. An ebony colt was born on the night of an eclipse, just like the mare named Epona. Thus, the colt’s name was Silver Eclipse. His sire was a Dark and his dam was a light – forbidden love. The colt grew to be strong and bold, and just as prophecy foretold he led the Lights through the war and restored peace. His father died in the war, saving his mother from a certain death. Not only did Equines fight for the diamond, but so did Big Cats and the Bird species. The battle was so large, so devastating, that it was called ‘War of the Blood Diamond’.

After the war, Eclipse founded a new kingdom; he called it Epona in honor of the mare and the diamond.

The Legend of Epona was not forgotten, and there are still some out there who seek the diamond and its power. Horses in Epona live in peace. For now…

General


  • This site is rated PG13. You must be thirteen or older to join. This is also stated in the Proboards TOS.
  • Listen to what the staff say. They are staff for a reason.
  • Don't argue. It's pointless. You don't know each other, anyway.
  • No polls asking if someone likes you/if they like someone else [meaning a member, actors and things like that are okay.]
  • Post in the away board if you will be gone for five days or more.
  • Cursing is allowed IC and OOC, just do not go overboard or this will be taken away. Also make sure not to curse at each other.
  • Stay active!
  • Have fun.


Posting


  • All post must be 100 or more words, no exceptions. Anything under that amount will be deleted. Repeat offenders will be warned and given a temporary ban [one week].
  • You must post at least five in-character posts each week. This is to ensure that all of our members stay active.
  • Land claims should be 200 or more words and auditions will vary, depending on the positions being auditioned.
  • You are to have ten in-character posts before posting an advertisement. If you break this rule, you will be banned permanently and your advertisement will be deleted.
  • Please post in the correct boards. Ex: Fights in the fighting board, stealing in the stealing board, games in the games board, etc.


Characters


  • Once you have read all of the rules, you can go to the Equine Biographys board and create a character.
  • Follow the bio format.
  • All pictures must be stock photos!
  • Bios must be accepted before you post. Admins, G-Mods, Mods, and Site Helpers can accept bios.
  • No begging a staff member to look at your bio. Repeat offenders will be band for three days. You may kindly ask a staff member to look at your bio if it has not been looked at in two days.
  • You can have as many characters as you can keep active.
  • You can not make these types of characters without permission: cannibalistic horses, "vampire" horses, genetically mutated horses, pregnant mares, foals [under two].
  • Odd colored eyes and coat colors are allowed, but not in every horse. If you are asked to change this, place cooperate or you could ruin this for everyone.

This world has not always been as perfect as it was thought to be. Long, Long go there was once a stallion who went made with power when his lead mare died along with his son. Going insane with the madness of this world, he began to kill the other colts. Not much could stop him, moving forward with his plans the herd soon split. The dark based their herd on 'the strong shall live. the weak shall die'. But many did not agree with this, and thus the birth of the light. ' All shall have the chance to live, for it is their right since they made it this far . But there was on side who did not care, they just began to Carry On with their life and that was the neutral side.

It has been many years and the stallions have began to mark their herds with what seem to be tribal markings. Stars, Moons, Hearts and many other markings and many colors became a sign of who you where. Life has been rough here but still we Carry on, like nothing ever happened.
